Amendment to Posted Sources Sought Fish Screen Electrical Support � Roza Diversion Dam Solicitation number 140R1020B0005 1.01 SYNOPSIS A. On March 24, 2020 a sources sought notice was posted to FedConnect and beta.SAM.GOV for the Roza Diversion Dam Fish Screen Electrical Support under solicitation number 140R1020R0006. B. This sources sought notice was incorrectly posted under �Roza Fish Screens� as 140R1020R0006, a separate requirement that may be forthcoming in the future after construction of the Fish Screen Electrical Support. C. The sources sought notice should have been posted under solicitation number 140R1020B0005 for the �Fish Screen Electrical Support�. D. Interested parties should take note of this error and seek future updates under solicitation number 140R1020B0005 for the Fish Screen Electrical Support at the Roza Diversion Dam. E. This notice documenting the error will be posted to140R1020R0006, 140R1020B0005 and distributed to all interested parties that responded to the sources sought. F. If this amendment results in your interest to the requirement, responses to include capability statements should be sent to Michael Naseath at mnaseath@usbr.gov No later than 9 Apr 20 . Phone calls will not be accepted. G. The requirement for Roza Fish Screen Electrical is as follows: The location of work is the Roza Diversion Dam, located on the Yakima River approximately thirteen miles from the city of Yakima Washington. The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) is conducting market research for the Fish Screen Electrical Support � Roza Diversion Dam Project. The overall purpose of this project is to replace the existing out-of-compliance drum screens and fish bypass system with a screening system that meets the requirements of the National Marine Fisheries Service while still meeting the needs of Yakima valley irrigators and power generators. This requirement has an order of magnitude between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Principle Components of Work to be performed included the following: 1. Move existing shipping container to a location designated by the COR. 2. Supply and install 12.47 kV conductors in conduit from existing mini-closure to new transformer at automatic transfer switch location. 3. Form and place concrete foundations for the emergency backup generator and transformer/breaker/automatic transfer switch. 4. Supply and install emergency backup generator, transformer, breaker, and automatic transfer switch, with all electrical connections. 5. Construct containment area around new foundations, including oil separation vault. 6. Construct storm drainage improvements, including piping, manholes, detention structures, and observation well. 7. Supply and install 480V conductors in conduit from automatic transfer switch to main screen panel. 8. Supply and install main screen panel with main breaker only. H. This market research is for informational purposes only. This announcement does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued, and shall not be construed as an RFP or IFB, or as an obligation on the part of the Government. No entitlement to payment will arise as a result of the submission of contractor information.
