- The Government is issuing this Request for Information to determine a competitive basis. This is not a solicitation. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this survey. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is conducting market research to get an idea of what industry is currently pricing for the removal and installation of transformers at Chickamauga Lock, Chattanooga, TN. These services would include performance of the following tasks: Removal of (QTY 1) Southern Transformer and Switch Serial # T7568 Install and Testing of (QTY 1) 750/1000 KVA Cast Secondary Transformer and 15 kV 600 A 40 kA Momentary / 40 kA Fault Close Metal Enclosed Interrupter Switch Offloading of New ABB Bland Dry Type Transformer and Switch and Placement onto Permanent Location Connection and Testing of (QTY 1) new 750/1000 KVA Cast Secondary Transformer and 15 kV 600 A 40 kA Momentary / 40 kA Fault Close Metal Enclosed Interrupter Switch Final testing per �TVA Recommended Acceptance Testing for Indoor and Outdoor 3 phase Dry Type and Cast Transformers, Rev 4� (developed by TVA/ABB partnership) Switch Testing for 15 kV 600 A 40 kA Momentary / 40 kA Fault Close Metal Enclosed Interrupter Switch Please provide: Firm name: Unique Entity Identifier (formerly known as DUNS Number): Cage Code: Total estimated cost to provide the services listed above: Any questions regarding this Request for Information must be submitted in writing to Contract Specialist Kristal Jones at Kristal.R.Jones@usace.army.mil.
