- Sources Sought Notice Mine Roller, Countermine Equipment, Anti-Magnetic Mine NOTICE Type: Sources Sought / Market Research for W56HZV-20-R-0075 This is a Sources Sought Notice to request information for Government planning purposes only.� Responses will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. The Government is not committed to issue a solicitation or award a contract as a result of this announcement. �Army Contracting Command � Detroit Arsenal is seeking qualified and capable potential vendors for the manufacture of the following three items. The images and drawings provided with this Sources Sought Notice are Distribution A.� The three NSNs have the same main assembly with the differences being the connecting hardware / brackets.� The Improved Dogbone Assembly (IDA) contains a rubber tire sealed to a shaft, contains a magnet, components that need to be fabricated, standard fasteners, chain, shackles, phosphate coating, etc.� -------------------------------------------------------- Noun: IDA MIMCB Note:� This is the IDA with mounting hardware, drawing included. NSN:�� 3815-01-369-7497 Part number:� 13230E3630 Quantity:� 137 Option:� 100%, 365 days -------------------------------------------------- Noun:� IDA Final Assembly Note:� This is the IDA (13230E3630) with additional mounting hardware NSN:� 2590-01-380-4852 Part number:� 12502064 Quantity:� 51 Option:� 100%, 365 days -------------------------------------------------------- Noun: �IDA Assembly Note:� This is the main component, item 24 on 13230E3630 drawing NSN:� 3815-01-423-6535 Part number:� 12502070 Quantity: 64 Option:� 100%, 365 days ------------------------------------------------------------- Requirements of this procurement: IUID Higher Level Requirements:� ISO: 2015 Hazardous Material:� Magnets FOB:� Origin & Destination, depending on NSN Packaging:� Military A & B, depending on NSN --------------------------------------------------------------------- Distribution Level & Export Control: The Technical Data Package will not be released with this Sources Sought Notice.� The TDP will be available when the solicitation is released.� The Distribution Level for all three TDPs/NSNs is Distribution D and Export Controlled.� Your firm must have valid certification under the United States / Canada Joint Certification Program (JCP) (https://www.dla.mil/HQ/LogisticsOperations/Services/JCP/) to be granted access to the technical data package (TDP) when the solicitation is released.� To register, or to re-register, please follow the instructions on the JCP website.� Registration can take several weeks. For technical assistance in doing business with the Government and doing business electronically, please visit the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) website at http://www.aptac-us.org/ to locate a regional center. Please provide the following information in a document via email (contact information is below): 1. Name and address of the firm 2. CAGE Code (valid System for Award Management (SAM), is mandatory. 3. Point of Contact (name, phone number, and email address). 4. Company�s business size status (small or large).� If claiming small business status, the information must be verifiable in SAM. 5. Summary of your company�s expertise in the manufacturing of the part.� Statements of your firm�s expertise should include reference to relevant contracts performed (including a description of the scope, quantity manufactured, contract number, and point of contact with phone number). 6. Summary of your company�s delivery capability. 7. Summary of the place of performance. 8. Is the NAICS Code appropriate for the items being requested? 9. The capability of your firm�s ability to meet the delivery schedule for all three NSNs or recommendation to separate the procurement of the NSNs into separate contract actions. All interested firms and manufacturers, regardless of size, may respond to this request for information. �Information submissions can include product literature and illustrations, relevant company background/experience. Information submissions must be received no later than 30 days following posting of this notice.� Again, this information is being requested for Government planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to any contractual agreement. �This is not a request for proposals. �The Government will not award a contract based upon responses to this announcement. �The Government will not reimburse or pay any costs for preparing or submitting information in response to this notice.
