Description

The James E. Van Zandt Medical Center is currently undergoing a face lift and has a vision to digitize and display via a slideshow presentation all the Veteran photos that have been donated to the VA over the years. The photos are currently in frames and were hung throughout the halls of the VA. They wish for the Veterans to be able to search for their comrades by being able to key in specific information via a touch screen kiosk that will then be able to display the information and Veteran photos up on the TV monitor. The VA is requesting a software package to be created that would digitize the Veteran photos and have the capability of searching for a specific Veteran�s name, branch, rank, conflict(s), and/or dates served. The software should be editable so that additional information can be added at any time. The software package should be designed to be ran from a cloud based cellular connection with the capability to be uploaded to a kiosk machine for viewing. The product should have the capabilities to display on a continuous basis, in a duration of 24 hours a day seven (7) days a week, a slide show presentation of Veteran photos along with any identifying information about that Veteran. Slideshow program should have the capability to be paused/stopped when an individual wish to search for a Veteran by specific searchable criteria.
