- The USDA Forest Service, Lake States Acquisition Team, announces a Small Business Set-Aside, Request for Quotation opportunity for the Savanna Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) project on the Huron-Manistee National Forest. The Government�s intent is to award multiple IDIQ contracts, one for each of the five items described in the Schedule of Items.� The initial task orders, as described in the specifications, will be awarded with the IDIQ contracts.� Future task orders will be awarded as work and funding is available, though annual estimates are provided in the specifications. Work consists of improving savannas within the Baldwin/White Cloud Ranger District by reducing tree and shrub cover using a combination of mechanical equipment, hand tools, and/or herbicides, and increasing cover of native wildflowers and grasses by mechanical site preparation and seeding with native savanna seed mixes. �The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 115310. The Small Business Administration size standard is $8 million. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov in order to be considered for award. Registering in the SAM system is FREE.� No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis, the pending solicitation or any follow up information requests. No hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any, will be provided. To receive the entire solicitation package and any applicable amendments, prospective offerors must download them from the FedBizOpps website. The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, labor, equipment and materials to complete the work described in the solicitation.
