- Description
- In accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures. The FAA intends to award a five (5) year contract to Georgia Tech Applied Research Corporation (GTARC) of Atlanta, Georgia, in support of scientific, engineering and technical support services to the Spectrum Efficient National Surveillance Radar (SENSR) program. GTARC�s Sensors and Electromagnetic Applications Laboratory (SEAL) has broad background and is uniquely qualified with an in-depth knowledge in researching phased array radar concepts and antenna properties.� Additionally, they possess the necessary phased array radar and systems engineering expertise, as well as existing computer simulation programs for performing detailed analysis of candidate phased array antenna architectures.� Due to the support activities required by this requirement, GTARC will be prohibited from teaming with any prime or subcontractor organization who submits an offer in response to the FAA�s SENSR requirement.� A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement.
