Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source for UNIFLUX�/Exotherm 3 MMBtu/Hr UNIFLUX High Pressure Indirect Air Heaters In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Exotherm Corp. to purchase UNIFLUX�/Exotherm 3 MMBtu/Hr UNIFLUX High Pressure Indirect Air Heaters because Exotherm Corp is the sole manufacturer and provider of the equipment required.� The government anticipates a single award for this requirement. This is considered a sole source to Exotherm Corp because, to the best of the NETL�s knowledge, based on market research conducted Exotherm Corp is the only known source that can provide this equipment.� No known potential alternate sources exist which could satisfy NETL's requirement.
