- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Project Title: Pine Ridge Medical Equipment Monitoring and LaCreek BAS Integration, Pine Ridge Indian Health Service (IHS) Facilities in South Dakota Announcement No.: RFQ-20-069 The Great Plains Area Indian Health Service, Aberdeen, South Dakota, hereby submits a Notice of Intent to award a sole source award to Johnson Controls, Inc. for Pine Ridge Medical Equipment Monitoring and LaCreek BAS Integration, Pine Ridge Indian Health Service (IHS) Facilities in South Dakota. The period of performance for this effort is one-hundred twenty (120) calendar days from award date and the requirements are detailed in the attached ""Statement of Work"" document. This sole source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from issuing a solicitation on a competitive basis pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for quotes or proposals. Any responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive and would not hinder the mission objective of the Indian Health Service. If no affirmative written response is received by 3:00 PM Central Standard Time (CST) on April 14, 2020, the award will be issued without further notice. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of information received, nor to provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. No proprietary, classified, confidential or sensitive information should be included in your response.
