- Description
- 1.0 Scope of Work. The contractor shall conduct compliance testing and inspection annually to meet Wyoming DEQ requirements at the Sheridan WY Medical Center, located at 1898 Fort Road, Sheridan WY 82801. Testing will be in accordance with all local, Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), the American Society of Sanitary Engineers (ASSE), and Federal standards. 1.1 The contractor shall supply labor and materials to test 25 sump sensor functionality tests, 3 detector functionality tests, 7 tank monitor inspection and E stop tests. Tests will be conducted on the following tanks 9, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21. 1.2 The contractor will perform the required testing during normal hours (7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday thru Friday). Hours may be adjusted with approval of the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) or the Safety Office prior to scheduling. 1.3 The contractor will coordinate with the maintenance manager or other point of contact to minimize any unwanted issues. Additionally, the contractor will verify accuracy of data sheets maintained on the presently-installed Underground fuel tanks, including location, type, size, manufacturer, date last certified, pass/fail results, etc. 1.4 Contractors will be required to obtain a contractor badge and wear it while performing work on VAMC property. 2.0 Certification: Contractor shall be certified to test all UST and AST s . 3.0 Performance Period: Testing shall be conducted no later than August 10th of each year. Scheduled dates for testing will be coordinated and approved by the Contracting Officer s Representative (COR) or other designated point of contact at least two weeks in advance. 3.1 The contractor should plan on approximately 15% failure rate and corrections as a pricing factor when submitting proposal. 3.2 Contractor shall provide typed report detailing testing procedures used, testing results, the condition of each device, and repairs provided.
