- PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT SEQUOIA AND KINGS CANYON NATIONAL PARKS RENTAL OF 2000-2999 GALLON WATER TRUCK RFQ No. 140P8620Q0020 The National Park Service (NPS), Sequoia National Park, located in Tulare County, California, has a requirement for a five-month (24 weeks) rental of a 2,000-2,999 Gallon Capacity Water Truck. The water truck shall be delivered and picked up from the Sequoia National Park, Ash Mountain Maintenance Facility, 47050 Generals Highway, Three Rivers CA. 93271. Delivery will be on or about May 11, 2020, and pick will be on or about October 23, 2020. This procurement is set-aside for Total Small Business concerns only. All responsible sources with Small Business status may submit a proposal which, if timely received, will be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 532412; the small business size standard is $35.0 million. The Government intends to award a single, fixed price contract. Award selection shall be made on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable determination made after consideration of price and factors other than price. The RFQ will be available via electronic commerce only and may be accessed on or about March 30, 2020 at either SAM/FBO: beta.SAM.gov (now referred to as Contract Opportunities) or FedConnect: http://www.fedconnect.net. The prospective Offeror is responsible for periodically checking these websites for any amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date of the RFQ. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT: Offerors shall be required to have a DUNS number and an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) in order to conduct business with the Federal Government.
