- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Market Research is being conducted to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business or HUBZone interests. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is trying to determine whether to set-aside an acquisition to perform required maintenance, repair, refurbishment and/or replacement services of surgical instruments while onsite at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center and two other Health Care Centers (HCC). The locations and addresses are as follows: Fayetteville VA Medical Center Fayetteville HCC Wilmington HCC 2300 Ramsey Street 7300 Raeford Rd 1705 Gardner Drive Fayetteville NC 28301 Fayetteville NC 28304 Wilmington NC 28405 The NAICS 811219 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $22.0 Million. If your company is interested in performing these services, please notify our office of your intent. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary for maintenance and repair of several types of surgical instruments that are contained in various instrument sets and the refurbishment of containers/lids. This shall include all the surgical instruments currently in use at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center and two outlying HCCs. Additionally, the contractor shall provide replacement up to one-hundred patterns due to unserviceable instruments.
