Description
General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State: Massachusetts City: Chelsea Delineated Area: Must remain in current Congressional District: North: Central Avenue East: Chelsea Street South: Chelsea River West: Shawmut Street Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 15,000 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 15,221 Space Type: Warehouse Parking Spaces (Total): 0 Parking Spaces (Surface): 0 Parking Spaces (Structured): 0 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 0 Full Term: 180 months Firm Term: 120 months Option Term: 60 months Additional Requirements: N/A Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease.� A fully serviced lease is required. The following requirements must also be met: Facilities shall be accessible to agency staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. Risk/vulnerability assessment of the property will be made on a case by case basis. Contiguous space on a single floor or adjoining floors (including stacked space) is required. The U.S. Government currently occupies warehouse space in a building under a lease in Chelsea, MA, that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government�s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replications of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
