- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.� �� Synopsis/Solicitation N0017820Q6732 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).� The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation as indicated in the attached SF18.� The SF18 form is being utilized to generate the applicable clauses from the Standard Procurement System.� This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure barge testing for multiple test assets to meet Grade A/B shock in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and Drawings with options for additional testing.� The formal test report shall be in accordance with the attached Contract Requirements List and Data Item Description.� The Contractor shall conduct a heavyweight shock test in accordance with MIL-DTL-901E for the Government Furnished Equipment/Materials (GFE/M) listed in sections 6.1.1 through 6.1.4 (4 items) of the attached SOW at two deck frequencies, with the main deck frequency at 14Hz and the secondary smaller deck at 25Hz. Following issuance of the award the contractor is required to coordinate with the Technical Point of Contact to schedule the shipment of all Government furnished Equipment/Materials and work to be performed under the SOW.� It is anticipated that work shall begin no later than 15 days after award of contract, and testing will be conducted within 45 days of contract award.� Travel is not anticipated in the performance of this contract. Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13� The order shall be firm fixed price.�� All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. At time of proposal submission please submit any historical data as well as published pricing.� Award will be made based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).� Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov.
