- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Services (APHIS) has extended a�fixed price Sole Source Bridge Contract to the incumbent Binary Information Technology (BIT), 13800 Coppermine Rd. #161, Herndon, VA 20171 through April 30, 2020 for continued operation and maintenance services and required enhancements of APHIS' Phytosanitary Certificate Issuance and Tracking (PCIT) IT system. The basis for the Bridge Contract is under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. ________________________________________ ________________________________________ This notice is not a request for proposals. This action will result in a ""bridge"" contract to extend contract services which is necessary to allow for the continuity of critical contractor service until a competitive contract is awarded. Any information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the enhancement of future competitive procurements. The Government will not reimburse for any information submitted.
