- Description
- CBP is seeking feedback on a draft performance specification for commercially available MEA that could be configured to satisfy all or a large portion of the general requirements identified in the Performance Specification. Additionally, CBP is seeking information on contractors capable of modifying a newly built, commercially available, FAA-certified multi-engine airplane to a law-enforcement equipped MEA by reconfiguring the airframe and installing a sensor system and sensor consoles, equipped with the capability to display and export all collected imagery. The envisioned MEA Land interdiction missions will include: Detecting, locating, classifying, identifying, and tracking people moving across the borders at locations between designated ports of entry (POE); Conducting real-time mapping and imagery of infrastructure damage resulting from natural disasters in support of federal, state, and local emergency response operations; Supporting federal, state, and local LE operations throughout the U.S. See the attached documents for additional information: -RFI -DRAFT Performance Spec
