Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation RFQ-36C250-20-Q-0450 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-94, 2005-95/ 01-19-2017. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 333120 and the business size standard is 1250 employees. STATEMENT OF NEED Skid Steer C.0. SCOPE: The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center has a need for a skid steer at its Indianapolis facility with the following specifications: Four wheeled drive 92HP Diesel-powered, liquid-cooled engine Tier 4 Must meet Tier 4 regulations without a diesel particulate filter (DPF). Clear Visibility Cab Cab forward design Ability to see the wheels without lifting the lift arms. Large clear back window to see objects that are behind you. Side LED lightning at least 800 lumens at 6k keel-shaped undercarriage. Sever duty 10 ply tires. Multiple tie down points that are easy to use and locate. Speed management system that allows user to accurately control the RPM of attachments. Radiator and hydraulic oil cooler must be well protected between the frame uprights and above the engine. Removable hose guide for securely routing and securing auxiliary hose lines. Monitoring system that continuously monitors the engine coolant, hydraulic oil, engine oil and other vital machine functions. The monitoring system will shut down the unit if a critical system is failing. On-board diagnostic system that can provide downloadable machine performance history. Meet or exceed military IP67 requirements for sealing, moisture, shock and vibration. Falling Object Protective Structure (FOPS) that meets or exceed SAE-J1043 & ISO 3449, Level I. Roll over protective structure (ROPS) the meets or exceeds SAE-J1040 & ISO 3471. Cold weather protection system that prevents damage from occurring to the unit in cold climates. Automatic ride control system that will reduce the risk of dropping a load while transporting materials. Lift arms do not need to be lifted to preform maintenance. 70% rear and 30% font distribution factor. Battery run down protection system that prevents the unit batteries from being drained in the event the lights or ignition is left on. Efficient cooling system that is designed to keep hot air away from the operator. Reversed engine cooling fan that keeps that keep dirt and debris out of the engine compartment. Two-speed option. High flow hydraulics 36.6 gal/min. Rated operating capacity 3,350lb Hydraulic bucket positioning system that keeps your bucket level when raising lift arms, reducing spillage and allowing you to work more efficiently. Ability to change attachment with out leaving the cab. Maintenance free chain case with fixed tubes and sealed bearings. Engine must be freely accessible for daily maintenance checks. Grease zerks locations must be accessible without standing on the tracks or laying under the machine. Tailgate must be one-piece, 1/4 in. thick door that is made of solid steel Selectable joystick controls Password-Protected keyless start Instrumentation LCD panel that displays: Operational Data-(job clock, clock, resettable hour meter) Critical Diagnostics Function lockouts Attachment Operation Maintenance reminders Multi language Engine RPM Battery Voltage Keyed start with keyless option Adjustable air ride suspension seat with heat Radio Operating LED lights high/low beam Parking brake Seat belt Seat bar Full cab enclosure Backup alarm Rear backup camera Air conditioning Front and rear lightning Rear hydraulics Switchable controls Horn Spark arrestor muffler Pressurized cab Lift cylinder cushioning Hazard warning lights Air-inflatable tires Minimum 60 Month Protection Plus (2000 Hours) Enclosed cab Anti-collision strobe lights on roof and around the vehicle Windshield wiper Removable doors Quantity: 1 a.
