- This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation.� A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The Government intends to award a fixed price purchase order to Qiagen, Inc., Germantown, MD� 20874-1415. The Department of Transfusion (DTM) at National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center (CC), Bethesda, MD� has a requirement to procure the supplies listed below: Item Number:� 9002857 QIAcube Connect System-1 Quantity:� 1 each Item Number:� 990395 Starter Pack, QIAcube Quantity:� 1 each Item Number:� 9026181 O-Ring change Tool for QIAcube connect The QIAcube Connect is designed to perform fully automated purification of DNA, RNA and proteins for research use in molecular biology applications using proven QIAGEN spin-column technology.� Thereby, it combines the outstanding performance in standardization of sample processing from lysis to purification with user-friendly connectivity features for maximum operator convenience and tranceability.� Spin Column kits and sample information can be easily imported by scanning the kit barcode and sample ID using the new barcode reader.� The built-in UV light enables full worktable decontamination for maximum user and sample safety.� Monitoring the process and instrument status from remote is possible with the new QIAcube Connect App.� Qiagen is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the QIAcube Connect. For the cell products producted from CPS SOP 5187.5206.5557, and developing protocols including 17-CSP-001, 20-CCE-01, 19-CCE-11, 20c0008, 19c0102, 19-CC3-13, the samples DNA should be extracted in a non-cross contamination, high quality and quantity manner to provide target template for the following molecular assays.� These assays results are required for cell products release and protocol approval.� As our CCE process many more products compared with the beginning of period, in order to improve samples process efficiency and provides the assay results on time, previously used manual method, would be replaced by automatically high efficiency QIAcube Connect System-1 Catalog #9002857 from Qiagen.
