- UPDATE 3/23/2020:� THIS NOTICE OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION IS RESCINDED IN ITS ENTIRETY.� ---------------------------------------------------------------- This is a notice of a proposed contract action in accordance with FAR 5.201.� The United States Air Force Life Cycle Management Center intends to award a sole source indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract to General Electric Aviation to provide F110 propulsion systems to meet the�F-15EX weapons system requirement.� The intent is to procure and deliver�F110 engines in support of the F-15EX weapon system.� If awarded, the proposed F-15EX propulsion system contract action will be awarded using Other than Full and Open Competition procedures citing the authority at 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.�� Responsible sources may submit a capability statement for consideration. Respondees to this posting are required to submit responses not later than 15 days of the posting date. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The following information is added to the original posting:� The proposed contract action is projected for the purchase of up to 480 F110 engines, engine monitoring system computers, integrated logistics support, support equipment, and tooling. The contract award and orders are anticipated starting May 2020. AFLCMC/LPAK requires a propulsion system to support the USAF F-15EX Rapid Fielding Program, intended to refresh/replace aging F-15C/D aircraft.
