Description

This synopsis is amended to reflect the incorporation of clause 52.217-8 Option to extend services into the requirement. Combined Synopsis/Solicitation For Emergency Generator Testing & Maintenance This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued under Request for Quotation (RFQ) number R15PS00051. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-78 dated December, 26th 2014. The North American Industry Classification system code (NAICS) is 811310 size standard of $7.5 million. This is a total small business set aside. The Grand Coulee Power Office intends to award one firm-fixed price contract for one (1) base year and four (4) options years to the quoter that offers the lowest price with relevant and successful past performance. The contract term for is for 1 year. However, the Government retains the right to exercise four additional ""option years."" The ""base year"" is from March 1st, 2015 to February 29th, 2016. The line item descriptions for work during the ""option years"" are estimated as: Option Year 1 - From 03/01/2016 to 02/28/2017 Option Year 2 - From 03/01/2017 to 02/28/2018 Option Year 3 - From 03/01/2018 to 02/28/2019 Option Year 4 - From 03/01/2019 to 02/29/2020 Description of Services: The Bureau of Reclamation, Grand Coulee Dam Power Office, Grand Coulee Dam WA, has a requirement for load testing and maintenance of ten (10) emergency generators. Work is to be performed at various locations at the Grand Coulee Power Office in Grand Coulee, WA. The testing and maintenance of the emergency generators will follow the specifications as stated in the attached performance work statement.
