Description
Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate and award a cost and Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract with a two-year period of performance and subsequent modifications to Ausgar Technologies. The requirement is for subject matter expertise to support Radiation Detection, Indication and Computation (RADIAC) prototyping and test activities. NIWC Pacific provides systems engineering, development, integration, and test support for the RADIAC Project. The RADIAC project is executed from within the Reconnaissance and Interdiction Division (Code 567) at the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific. The RADIAC project develops deployable solutions that counter the transit or emplacement of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), their delivery systems, and associated technologies. These systems are being employed in land, maritime, and aerial environments making this capability ideal for nearly all direct DoD and National WMD radiological/nuclear (R/N) detection and identification efforts. These programs provide an important integrated R/N detection and identification capability, enabling and enhancing tactical interdiction and elimination missions. Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for competitive quote; however, any firm believing that they can fulfill the requirement of providing these services may be considered by the agency. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis, and must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of services provided. Capability statements, comments, questions or concerns regarding this notice may be submitted via e-mail ONLY to ryan.s.conrad@navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. All responding vendors must be registered to the System for Award Management (SAM) website prior to award of contract. Information can be found at https://www.sam.gov/. To respond to this announcement, you must be registered to the SPAWAR E-Commerce website at https://e-commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil. Responses are due by 23 April 2020 at 11:59 PM PDT.
