Description

The purpose of this Amendment is to address questions received from the industry and to clarify the NAICS associated with this solicitation. Historically, construction management services may be provided under either: 1) 541330 Engineering Services, or; 2) 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. As a result, quotes will be accepted from VIP verified SDVOSB vendors who are capable of offering construction management services under either NAICS code. The following question was received: Question: On page 3 of the solicitation, it states Construction Management Services (CMS) are being sought in accordance with General Service Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Special Item Number (SIN) 871-7. Does this mean we need to be on the GSA Schedule in order to submit our bid? We are a registered SDVOSB with the CVE. Agency Answer: Interested and capable SDVOSB vendors do NOT have to be listed on the Federal Supply Schedule or hold a GSA contract. Market research supported the decision to post and seek firm fixed price quotes from VIP verified SDVOSBs on the open market. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
