- Description
- The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, a Firm-Fixed Price award to Charon Technologies LLC, Suite 100, 13615 Dulles Technology Drive, Herndon, VA 20171.� This procurement is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13. The purpose of the acquisition is to purchase and install the Netguard 5 connected system and accessories at the USCG office in Chesapeake, VA.� Charon Technologies LLC is the manufacturer of the unit with factory trained technical service personnel and authorized installer.� Charon Technologies LLC also has the proprietary rights for the software needed to upgrade the system. This action is being taken in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b).� A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� The Government does not intend to pay for information provided in response to this notice.� This notice serves as both a synopsis of the requirement and public notice of the USCG�s intent to sole source. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement.� All responses shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer via e-mail to Jazmine.T.Gordon@uscg.mil by 2:00 PM Eastern Time on March 27, 2020 reference number 70Z02320QR6200700. Negotiations will be conducted with Charon Technologies LLC., as the only source and a purchase order will be issued without any additional notices being posted.� As a result of this notice, a separate award notice or further public notices shall not be made.� This notice constitutes all of the USCG�s public notice requirements.
