Description

Due to the uncertainty in the current environment and the criticality of the Electrical Capacity & Distribution Capability (ECDC) Project for the Department of Energy, the Sources Sought Notice for this project is being re-issued.� The initial issuance of this Notice was on October 8, 2019 and all vendors who previously responded to the prior Notice need not resubmit their interest under this Notice.� All previously received information will be included as if submitted under this Notice. As part of the Department of Energy�s (DOE) Strategic Laboratory Initiative (SLI), Argonne National Laboratory (Argonne) plans to install mission critical improvements to the high voltage electrical distribution systems. Expansion of the electrical distribution system would significantly reduce the risk of inadequate electrical capacity to support future scientific program growth and/or new initiatives, specifically those associated with advanced computer science, visualization and data, large-scale user facilities/advanced instrumentation and nuclear physics core capabilities. Additionally, Argonne will realize a significant reduction in operational risk associated with unplanned outages. Additional information regarding the project is contained in the Project Description document uploaded to this Notice. Interested Vendors shall enter contact information under the Interested Vendors section of this Notice.� After close of this Sources Sought Notice, the Laboratory will reach out to all vendors who have provided their information.
