Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart�12.6 and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Competitive proposals are being requested under solicitation number W912HZ20R0012.� This Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued as 100% set-aside for small business.� The associated NAICS code is 315990 � Apparel Accessories and Other Apparel Manufacturing and the small business size standard is 500 employees.� This procurement is being conducted in accordance with regulation at FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-02 (12/23/2019) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DPN 20190531 (10/01/2019).� It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions.� The clauses can be accessed in full text at https://www.acquisition.gov. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) in Vicksburg, MS has a requirement for Ballistic Armor Vests in accordance with the specifications below. Requesting a quote for 22 Level IIIA NIJ Certified Ballistic Panel with Front Opening Carrier, HT Trauma Plate and Velcro identification patches. �Measurements for each Department of the Army Security Guard (DASG) will be provided to the vender once a successful award is made.
