Description

INTRODUCTION The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting quotes and subsequently awarding a Single Award, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order for computer carts in support of the new Ambulatory Care Clinic opening in Omaha, NE. Please note this is being issued in connection with Request for Information (RFI) 36A77620Q0160. DESCRIPTION Veteran Affairs Nebraska-Western Iowa Healthcare System (VANWIHS) has a requirement to purchase Cart, Computer, Mobile (JSN: E0945) with an authorized vendor to supply and deliver the item(s) identified in Table 1 below. See salient characteristics below. This requirement is in support of the activation of VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Healthcare System Ambulatory Care Center. The new Ambulatory Care Center has the need for nine mobile carts for patient vitals recording and monitoring. The current manufacturer is the basis for design. ADMINISTRATIVE The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13. The solicitation will be advertised to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) only. The applicable NAICS code is 337214 with a size standard of 1,000 Employees. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 19, 2020 for approximately 5 calendar days. Offerors will be required to submit their offers electronically via email. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. Questions of a technical nature will not be answered as part of this notice; however, all general questions may be submitted in writing to the issuing office by the due date and time indicated in the RFQ via email at heather.allen3@va.gov. Telephone calls will not be accepted. The VA reserves the right to use only Contract Opportunities via the internet, to provide notification of any amendments to this notice and the subsequent issuance of the solicitation.
