- THIS REQUIREMENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. NO RESPONSES ARE DUE. DO NOT SUBMIT QUOTES. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Anchorage, AK has a requirement for a commercial item or service. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 (as supplemented with additional information included in this notice). This posting will be referred to under Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number 140F0720Q0013. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will be issued and attached to this posting for reference only. This RFQ falls under procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13. This document incorporates provisions and clauses updated by way of the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-04, effective January 15, 2020. This requirement is a full and open opportunity and is not set aside for small businesses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 334519, Meteorological Instruments Manufacturing and the business size standard is 500 Employees. This announcement constitutes the Government's only official notice of this procurement. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is requesting quotes to purchase a quantity of 40 Temperature Depth Recorders (TDRs) with the following minimum specifications: Must provide sufficient data to determine technical equivalency. � < 40 mm in length (to fit on a tarsal band) � < 8 g in weight (to avoid disrupting locomotion) � � Capable of a 1 second sampling interval � Sufficient memory to collect data for at least 7 days at a 1 second interval � Tag must be capable of a duty cycle so sampling can be specified for a designated time ( i.e., tag turns on at specific dates and for specific periods that the user specifies) � Tag must be able to withstand a deployment � 1 year in a cold (-30 to -50), marine environment (these tags will be used in the Bering Sea) � Tag must have a demonstrated ability to meet all listed requirements, as documented in studies done in similar environments that have been published in reports or journal articles �� Vendor shall provide documented studies with their quote showing their tags meet requirements � Vendor shall provide cost of each TDR which shall include the cost of shipping to: US FISH & WILDLIFE SERVICE FAIRBANKS FISH AND WILDLIFE FIELD OFFICE 101 12TH AVENUE ROOM 110 FAIRBANKS AK 99701-6237 � Tags shall be delivered to the above location NLT 8 May 2020 � Basis for award is Best Value to the government Please submit your quote on the attached SF-1449 or company letterhead with all pertinent point of contact information including SAM, Cage Code, DUNS No., and business size/type. In addition, your proposal should provide unit price and total price. No formal format is required as this is a combined synopsis/request for proposal solicitation.
