Description

Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. �The Embassy of the United States in Serbia will launch the solicitation on the Embassy website when it is available. The solicitation will be for sewer maintenance services at the new embassy compound in Belgrade. These requirements may change depending on funding availability in forth coming periods.� Major duties and responsibilities are to provide regular maintenance of the waste water treatment plant, sewers and ancillary equipment at the Embassy compound at Bulevar kneza Aleksandra Karadjordjevica 92, Belgrade. The Embassy Compound is equipped with two waste water treatment plants (WWTP) including 5 blowers, 2 lift station pumps, 4 effluent pumps and 2 sludge pumps. The sewage system includes the following components: 98 storm drain manholes, 21 sanitary sewage manholes and 5 oil/water separators. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov �prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.� Prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals..� Proposals from companies not registered in SAM at the time of award will be considered technically unacceptable.� Defense Base Act (DBA) insurance will be required for this contract.� For information on how to obtain DBA insurance, please follow this link�� https://rs.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/235/2017/04/Defense-Base-Act-DBA-Frequently-Asked-Questions.pdf All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. The Government plans to issue the solicitation in April�2020.
