- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, Getinge USA Sales LLC, 45 Barbour Pond Dr., Wayne, NJ 07470. Getinge USA Sales LLC, will provide preventative maintenance aligned with manufacturer recommendations and Joint Commission requirements and unlimited corrective maintenance on two (2) CardioHelp Workstations and one (1) Magnus Table, as well as labor, travel, parts, software upgrades, and loaners for that maintenance. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The place of performance is for the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital. The Harry S. Truman Memorial Veteran s Hospital is located at 800 Hospital Drive, Columbia, MO 65201-5272. The NAICS code is 811219 with a size standard of $20.5 Million. The announcement number is 36C25520Q0277. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of twelve (12) month base year plus four option years. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT 23 March 2020 at 5:00 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to announcement 36C25520Q0277 Notice of Intent. If after 23 March 2020, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with Getinge USA Sales LLC. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
