Description
HUD's legacy system named Single Family Acquired Asset Management System (SAMS) tracks and reports on HUD homes for sale, and processes all financial transactions related to their repair, lease, listing, and sale, including payments for contractor services, taxes and homeowner association and condominium fees. SAMS is integral to managing the portfolio of HUD homes. This acquisition requires a vendor to provide a technical solution for replacing the legacy SAMS with a state-of-the-art technology, web-based software solution for collecting debts and consulting services. The cloud-based technical solution must utilize the standard HUD infrastructure based on the HUD Enterprise Architecture (EA) standards in managing the configuration, interface development, testing, data migration, and integration activities. The proposed software must: 1) Track Acquired Property, 2) Maintain Property, 3) Dispose of Property and 4) Monitor and Report Status of Inventory. The system will need to track and report on HUD homes for sale and process all financial transactions related to their repair, lease, listing, and sale, including payments for contractor services, taxes, and homeowner association and condominium fees. It will also need to track, report, and account for homes in HUDs custody.
