- This is a Presolicitation Notice of an upcoming requirement, not a solicitation. The Bureau of Reclamation, Missouri Basin Region intends to solicit proposals for SF6 High Voltage 115 kV Circuit Breakers, Chargers and accessories for Canyon Ferry Powerplant, located near Helena, Montana in Lewis and Clark County. When issued, the acquisition will be a resultant Firm-Fixed Price contract. The principal features include manufacturing, shop testing, delivery, and unloading at site for five (5) 115 kV SF6 circuit breakers, chargers and accessories. The breaker shall be suited for 115 kV line protection and for transformer protection and switching, including load dropping and fault interrupting of primary and secondary faults. This procurement is set-aside 100% for Small Business. Pursuant to Part 12 and Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or around March 30, 2020. Quotes will be due on or around May 1, 2020. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) for this action is 335313 � Switchgear and Switchboard Apparatus Manufacturing. The Size Standard is 1,250 Employees. Reclamation will consider all responsible sources who submit a timely quote that conforms to the solicitation. Prospective offerors shall submit quotes electronically via e-mail to Senthia Bruns at sbruns@usbr.gov. No quotations or correspondence will be accepted via FedConnect. Any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must register in the System for Award Management database prior to award of a contract or agreement.
