Description
Construct Munitions Inspection Assembly Facility W50S6L-20-B-0002 The 176th Air Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK, intends to issue an Invitation For Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for construction a munitions inspection assembly facility on the 176th Wing campus, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK. Work consists of constructing a maintenance and inspection (M&I) facility including insulation, power, surge protection, telephone, internet, HVAC, floor drains, eye wash/shower station, shop air, cyphered man doors, rollup garage doors, concrete floor with drains and grounding points, grounding bars, lightning protection, and bathrooms. An exterior parking pad is required with outlets for vehicle plug-in and exterior lighting. The magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000 - $5,000,000. A bid bond in the amount of 20% of the offer is required. The total Construction duration is anticipated to be 12 months after notice to proceed for the base contract.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. This requirement is anticipated to be a total small business set- aside. The small business size standard is $39.5 million average annual revenue. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states ""By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees"" applies to this project. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about 31 March 2020, and the tentative closing date will be approximately 30 days after the solicitation is made available.� Actual date of time of closing will be identified in the solicitation. An organized site visit will be coordinated and announced with the posting of the solicitation or in an amendment after the solicitation is posted. The solicitation and associated information and the plans and specifications will be available only from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website now located online at https://www.beta.sam.gov/.� Sam.gov is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies. Contractor's submitting a proposal must have a Cage Code and be registered in the System of Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dunn & Bradstreet.
