- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE - THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO AWARD A SINGLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO SITKA AIRCRAFT & SUPPORT SERVICES �-�This notice publishes the Government's intent to purchase aircraft mechanical services under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106(b) Soliciting from a Single Source. �The work is to be completed by May 8, 2020 for the Region 10 LE&I aircraft-1953 DHC-2 Beaver.��The Forest Service is aware of no other individual or company in Juneau Alaska meeting government requirements and�interested in�doing this work. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
