2020-DLA_00196 Item Name:�Exhaust System, Engine NSN:� 2990016762517 Part Number: 402-8004 Base Qty: 25 Ea. Option Qty: 50 Ea. End Item: M1A2SEPv3 Abrams Response Date: 26 March 2020 Requirements Description: The Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) provides an M1 series tank with electrical power to maintain battery charge and to operate vehicle electrical systems without vehicle engine operation. The EXHAUST SYSTEM,ENGINE is a component of the auxiliary power unit which provides power to the vehicle during continuous silent watch or engine off operation.� The EXHAUST SYSTEM,ENGINE handles exhaust treatment from the auxiliary power unit, prevents recirculation of exhaust air into the auxiliary power unit, and keeps exhaust air from entering the crew compartment. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP) that defines the procedures required to produce this Electronic Switch. Additionally, this sources sought notice is not for a developmental effort, but a Firm-Fixed Price Contract.
