Solicitation number: FA8118-20-R-0021. Service/Spare/Repair/OH: Repair/Overhaul. AMC: R1/C. Item: Overhaul of E-3 Electro-Mechanical Actuator NSN: 1680-01-008-8834. P/N: 757050-1. Description: The actuator is used to open and close the ram air door for cabin temperature control system on the E-3. Quantity: Repair/Overhaul: 5 year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract will be solicited. Test & Evaluation: Minimum contract quantity: 1 EA. Maximum Contract Quantity: 20 EA. Minor Repair: Minimum contract quantity: 1 EA. Maximum Contract Quantity: 20 EA. Major Repair: Minimum contract quantity: 1 EA. Maximum Contract Quantity: 20 EA. Over and Above: To Be Negotiated (as needed). Data: Not Separately Priced. Application: E-3. Destination: TBD. Delivery: 2 EA per Month Beginning 30 days After Receipt of Order or Reparables, Whichever is Later for TT&E. 2 EA per Month Beginning 30 days After Receipt of Order or Reparables, Whichever is Later for Minor Repair. 2 EA per Month Beginning 180 days After Receipt of Order or Reparables, Whichever is Later for Major Repair. Qualification Requirements DO apply. Initial Production Evaluation (IPE) is required. This will be a small business set aside. Initial Production Evaluation (IPE) may be required. No set-asides applicable to this requirement. Export Control: Not Applicable. UID Note to Contractor: UID marking is required in accordance with Engineering Drawing. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
