- Description
- The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, Public Works Department Maine, is seeking business firms capable of removing and replace like-in-kind a 3-ton condensing unit and 3 interior wall mounted�evaporator units at Building 306�at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNSY), Kittery, ME. The Northern American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236210. The procurement method is Total Small Business Set-Aside, FAR Part 19. Proposals are due 04/10/2020 and can be submitted electronicaly to Contract Specialist, Kimberly Miller, at kimberly.a.miller@navy.mil. Project Description: This design�bid build for this project includes the following and incidental related work as required to remove existing damaged 3-ton condensing unit, 3 interior wall mounted evaporator units and replace link-in-kind with a new system of same capacity. Capacity shall include cooling tons for condenser, BTU�s and CFM for evaporators. Period of Performance: The anticipated period of performance for this contract is 60 calendar days. Contract Magnitude: The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000 IAW DFARS 236.204. Site Walk: The site walk is scheduled for Tuesday 3/31/2020 at 1330. By Tuesday 3/34/2020, please submit to Kimberly Miller (Kimberly.a.miller@navy.mil) the following information of those planning to attend the site visit: Individual's first name, last name and middle initial Current contractor badge for PNSY (Y or N) State of Residence US Citizenship (Y or N) Individual's employer (if subcontractor, provide the company's name) General Information: Please be advised of on-line registration requirements in the System for Awards Management (SAM) database www.sam.gov; Representation and Certifications are required to be updated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete. The electronic annual representations and certifications are effective until one year from date of submission. Contractors will be searched against SAM to ensure they are eligible for federal contract awards. The information being requested does not constitute a commitment on the part of Government ot award a contract nor to pay for any costs incurred as a result of replying to this notice. The Navy commenced a transition from the Navy Commercial Access Control System (NCACS) to the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) credentialing for contractors, visitors, vendors and suppliers requiring access to Navy Installations. DBIDS is the new credential that will be accepted for all contractors, visitors, vendors and suppliers that require access to the installation. There is no charge for the DBIDS credentials.
