Description

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic is seeking eligible Small Businesses, HUB Zone Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses capable of performing CP1711 M & R Repairs and Improvements to Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant (IWTP), Marine Corps Air Station MCAS, Cherry Point, NC.� This project will repair and improve the existing Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant (IWTP), which covers approximately 2 acres of land. The existing IWTP complex has a treatment capacity of 627,000 gallons per day (GPD). The plant treatment processes consist of manual bar screening, grit separation, primary clarification, equalization basins, the continuous treatment facility (for chemical removal of metals from the waste stream), a separate batch treatment system, and secondary up-flow clarification. The project includes site drainage improvements, site security upgrades, process equipment and controls upgrades, and extensive electrical demolition and repair. � See attached Sources Sought Notice for further details.
