Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) located at 12211 Science Drive, Orlando, FL 32826, intends to solicit and negotiate, on a sole source basis, with United Electronic Industries, Inc. (UEI), Walpole, MA, authority permitting other than full and open competition 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAWCTSD has identified a requirement to procure the following spare part required for the CH-53K Training Device: P/N DNR-12-1G � Chassis, 3U, 12 Slot P/N DNR-429-566 � Module, ARINC-429, 6TX, 6RX P/N DNR-AI-201-100 � Analog Input Module, 24 CH, 18 Bit P/N DNR-AI-254 � Analog Input Module, 4 CH, LVDR/RVDT, 16 Bit P/N DNR-AO-308-350 � Module, 8 CH, �10V, Analog Output P/N DNR-AO-308-353 � Module, 8 CH, �40V, Analog Output P/N DNR-AO-322 � Module, 32 CH, �10V, Analog Output P/N DNR-CPU-1000 � CPU Module P/N DNR-DIO-432 � Module, 32 CH, Discrete Output, Sink P/N DNR-DIO-433 � Module, 32 CH, Discrete Output, Source P/N DNR-DIO-448 � Module, 28 CH, Discrete Input P/N DNR-PC-913 � Module, Power Supply, �45VDC P/N DNR-POWER-DC � Power Module P/N DNR-SL-508 � Module, 8 CH, Serial, RS-232/422/485 This sole source procurement is based on the existence of only one known manufacturer who can address the requirements needed for this contract action. Product service code (PSC) 7022, specifically for �Information Technology Central Processing Unit (CPU, Computer) Hybrid�. A sources sought notice was posted on the beta.sam.gov website on 3 March 2020 and no offers were submitted, as extensive market research predicted. United Electronic Industries, Inc. is the only company found to manufacture this part to the specific configuration utilized by the CH-53K Trainer.�
