- Description
- The purpose of this Modification is to answer vendor questions. However the text of the solicitation states architecture, engineering services which leads me to wonder why you have not added or selected 541330 as the primary, or additional code. This is to establish an AE Short Selection Database in accordance with FAR 36.602-5, AE Firms will be evaluated in accordance with the stated evaluation criteria for each individual project, and a stand-alone contract can be awarded, under any of the NACIS codes listed in the notice. Is it the intent of VISN 17 to offer a IDIQ specific to engineering services as well? Not at this time. Note: This announcement is NOT for establishing an IDIQ. add the NAICS CODE 541330 to this solicitation so that we could compete This announcement is not for an AE IDIQ, but for an AE Short Selection Database, IAW FAR 36.602-5. Do we have to beSDVOSB in all categories to submit for thisVISN 17 AE Short Selection Database? No, but you must specifically identify the NACIS codes in which you are a CVE SDVOSB, you will only be considered for projects with an applicable NACIS code in which you are an SDVOSB. Referring to paragraph 1 on page 3, it states, An electronic cover letter should precede your other data. Is the correct interpretation that this cover letter (which outlines the work our firm specializes in a includes a brief description of our firm s capabilities relevant to the project examples states) is to be part of the entire submission and therefore counts toward the limit of 20 pages? Yes Referring to paragraph 2 on page 3, it states that we must submit our SAM Print Out. How much of that print-out would you prefer us to include? For example, I could give a screen print only of the portion which verifies that our firm is registered in SAM, or I could capture all of the data submitted in SAM (e.g., Ownership and Certifications, Products and Services, NAICS, Performance History references, etc.) and provide that on several pages. A screen print only of the portion which verifies that our firm is registered in SAM is acceptable. Is the correct interpretation that whatever is provided from SAM (in other words, whether 1 page or several) is to be part of the entire submission and therefore counts toward the limit of 20 pages? Yes Referring to paragraph 3 at the bottom of page 3, it states that our firm must file with the appropriate office or board the Standard Form 330, Architect-Engineer Qualifications, Part II, and when applicable, SF330, Part I. Is the correct interpretation that you are asking only for the Part II portion of the SF330? Yes What is meant by when applicable when discussion submission of SF330 Part I? This is hereby changed to state: AE Firms must provide Current Professional Registration. Provide information on current relevant professional registration(s) in a State or possession of the United States, Puerto Rico, or the District of Columbia according to FAR Part 36. Referring to paragraph 4 at the top of page 4, it states that our firm is to provide examples of completed projects. Are example projects to be submitted on the SF330 Part I Section F form? Yes If we are to use the Section F form, would you then require the Section G form? Yes Referring to the bottom of page 4, it states, See attached document: SF330-16f. Was that supplied because that is the document required for this submittal, or is it acceptable for our firm to supply our own format of the SF330-16f (i.e., a version in Word rather than a fill-in-PDF)? Offerors may use the form provided or their own form. Will you respond directly, or will these be a posted Q&A on beta.SAM? Responses will be completed via beta.SAM. Will there be separate solicitations forthcoming for 541330 or 541370? No The purpose of this announcement is to create a AE database IAW FAR 36.602-5, all applicable NAICS codes are listed in the body of the announcement. This announcement will not result in the award of an IDIQ. If not, we can submit as a Prime on this solicitation, or will we need to submit as a sub to a Prime Architect with a 541310 NAICS? See above. If we are able to submit as a Prime, will we have to submit individual proposals for each NAICS? No
