- Update:�This Sources Sought Notice has been updated as the program sponsor, determined that the planned acquisition strategy is no longer viable due to fleet levied schedule requirements and funding availability. The Government intends to incorporate H6.2 Operational Flight Program (OFP) requirements with H7.0/H7.1. Please refer to the attachments for the full H6.2 and H7.0/H7.1 Sources Sought Notices. If you have already replied to these notices, you are not required to respond again. SPECIAL NOTICE: SOURCES SOUGHT AV-8B WEAPON SYSTEMS TRAINER (WST) 2F150F AND THE DEPLOYABLE MISSION REHEARSAL TRAINER (DMRT) 2F241 UPGRADE TO OPERATION FLIGHT PROGRAM H7.0/7.1 DISCLAIMER This Sources Sought is for Informational Purposes Only and is issued in accordance with (IAW) FAR 5.205(c). The sources sought serves as a market research tool used to determine potential and eligible vendors capable of providing the products described herein. It is the Government�s intent to solicit this effort utilizing full and open competitive procedures under Training System Contract (TSC) IV Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract (MAC), however all responses resulting from this special notice will be assessed as part of the Government�s acquisition strategy and set-aside determination. Any respondents who are awardees under TSC IV IDIQ MAC must complete Enclosure (1) � TSC IV Request for Information (RFI). � This is not a Request for Proposal. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary. Verbal submissions via phone will not be honored. Information and materials submitted in response to this request WILL NOT be returned. Classified material SHALL NOT be submitted. INTRODUCTION The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) Procurement Department (GT24000) announces its intention to procure, on behalf of Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) PMA-257, the upgrade and integration of Operational Flight Program (OFP) H7.0/7.1 five (5) United States Marine Corps (USMC) AV-8B WSTs, device number 2F150F, and four (4) USMC AV-8B DMRTs, device number 2F241, and DMRT OFP modification kits for four (4) additional DMRTs. This upgrade includes the modification of existing technical data and information impacted by the OFP upgrade. The OFP modification kits will consist of all new media and hardware (if applicable) for the upgrade of (4) additional DMRTs. The OFP modification kits will be used by government personnel to upgrade the remaining four (4) DMRTs to H7.0/7.1. Please refer to attachment ""AV8B DMRT Special Notice- Sources Sought"" for the complete copy of the Souces Sought. Note: The attachment ""Attachment 2 TSC IV RFI Document"" is required for TSC IV small business contractors only.
