- Update:� Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, leadership from VA/VHA/VISN 5 recommends postponing the subject scheduled for April 30, 2020.� As a proactive response to this�outbreak, we will be monitoring the situation and intend to reschedule once leadership lifts restrictions.� I will communicate the new date here and via Eventbrite as soon as possible, so you can plan accordingly.� Thanks for your understanding; we look forward to seeing you sometime soon. � The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, VISN 5 (Capital Health Care Network) is hosting an Industry Outreach event in Perry Point, MD, primarily, geared towards the medical equipment and supply sectors. There will be a small contingent of medical services, along with the projects and maintenance side of the Engineering Service as well. The morning will consist of presentations from VISN and NCO 5 leadership members, VA National Acquisition Center (NAC), and General Services Administration (GSA) Representatives. The afternoon will be used to facilitate networking, vendor showcasing, tables staffed with VISN contracting and program/project personnel, as well as the representatives from the NAC, GSA, Small Business Administration, and various Maryland state development offices. The event is FREE, but space is limited. Please register to attend as soon as possible! Each company is limited to two representatives who SHALL register individually. Registration will be facilitated via Eventbrite at the following link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/vha-visn-5-industry-outreach-2020-tickets-98245034543 Tables, chairs, tablecloths, electricity (if needed) will be provided. Check-in begins at 7:30am. The event will start promptly at 9:00am and should be over by 3pm.
