- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-64 Effective on January 17, 2013. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference has the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations supplement (DFARS) can be accessed on the internet at https://www.acquisition.gov/FAR. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote. This procurement is seeking maximum small business participation and is a Total Small business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 532284 � Recreational Goods Rental. This solicitation is for a firm fixed price contract. Offer must include proof of adherence to provided specifications�and have a satisfactory past performance with Government contracts. The Louisiana Army National Guard 256th Infantry Brigade is requesting the following in support of CONUS and OCONUS operations. The following request will be delivered, set up, and picked up by the vendor at the location provided. There may be special requirements to access the installation and coordination must be handled prior to winning vendors arrival. This is not a brand name request. All questions must be submitted by 18 March 2020. 2 - �50� X 100� heavy duty, weather resistant, outdoor tents, white, and blocked on concrete on 10 feet legs 48 � 10� Adjustable Tent Legs 60 � Ecology Blocks � 1900 pounds (one per each leg of each tent) 600 feet � 10� high Sidewall solid (wall zippered) 10 � Large Stadium Lights (5 per tent) 15 � 50� white extension cords (one per light set) 2 � Fire Safety Package (one per tent) extinguishers, etc� 2 kits � 4 �No Smoking� signs, and 4 �Exit� signs.� All prices should include delivery, set up, and pick up. Delivery Date: 20 April 2020: Pick Up Date: 30 June 2020 � Location: Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) 542nd Motor Pool Building 3901 JBLM, WA 98433 � Notes from Requestor: Our original request resulted in tents with a tent opening height of 8 feet. Our tallest vehicle is around 9 feet in height.� Shorter tents will need leg extensions to get the opening to 10 feet, which required the� 10 feet high wall being added to the request. The economy blocks are used to secure the tents to the surface that they�ll be placed on. The blocks are used as anchors for the tent legs, so that the tent is stable. The tents will be emplaced on concrete surface. The only other option for securing the tents would be to drill into the ground. However, JBLM will not allow drilling into the concrete surface.
