Description
Description��The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is conducting market research to support the USDA/ARS/SEA, National Sedimentation Laboratory (NSL) for a Siemens Industry HVAC Service Agreement Implementation Plan.� This plan includes but not limited to technical support, software updates/protection and recovery services.� This is a sources sought notification ONLY issued by the USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) for informational and planning purposes only.� This is not a solicitation, nor is it an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation.� Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary.� The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred in providing a response. The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) has a requirement for a Siemens Industry HVAC Service Agreement Implementation Plan.� This plan to cover initial base year period plus 4 option years.� The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, assembly, transportation, and supervision for the support services required for the Siemens Industry HVAC Service Agreement Implementation Plan at the USDA/ARS/SEA, NSL, Oxford, MS location.� The Contractor shall provide AUTOMATION CONTROL SERVICES�consisting of Account Management.� This to include Quality Assurance to ensure that delivered services are of the highest quality.� Contractor shall meet with key staff members to discuss Contractor�s performance and location�s satisfaction with the quality of service being provided.� Customer Support Services to include Remote Operator Support Service which must include (4) hours of remote service to be included with a cRSP remote connection to be installed to utilize service.� Technical Support Services to include Preventative Maintenance and Data Protection & Data Recovery Services.� digital services including eCumulus Private Cellular VPN and Automation Health Reporting.� The Contractor shall also provide a SERVICE�IMPLEMENTATION�PLAN�consisting of HVAC Control Services � Automation On-site Response Time and Call Windows.� This to include Emergency Onsite Response:� Monday through Sunday, 24 hours per Day, and Emergency Online/Phone Response:� Monday through Sunday, 24 hours per Day.� The Contractor shall also provide a MAINTAINED�EQUIPMENT�TABLE.� Equipment to be maintained include PXC Compact with Preventative Maintenance � Four times annually (Combination of on site or remote using cRSP), eCumulas Cellular VPN Modem with Preventative Maintenance � Four times annually, TX/iO with Preventative Maintenance � Four times annually, TEC Electronic Controller with Preventative Maintenance � Four times annually (25% such that each controller once per year), PXC Panel B/U on-site with Data Protection & Recovery Services � Two times annually (Done remotely via cRSP), and Insight Back up on-site with Data Protection & Recovery Services � Two times annually (Done remotely via cRSP). The purpose of this sources sought notification is to identify Contractors that offer the full range of required Siemens Industry�HVAC Service Agreement Implementation Plan described above.� Responses to this notification will help to determine the acquisition strategy for any future solicitation. Submission instructions:� Interested Contractors for the Siemens Industry HVAC Service Agreement Implementation Plan should submit a response to the sources sought notification by 3:00 PM CST, Tuesday, March 17, 2020 to the attention of Monte Jordan at monte.jordan@usda.gov.�� Reponses must include: Organization Name including business address and mailing address (if different from business address). Contact name, e-mail address and phone number. Organization DUNS number and CAGE code. Business size status for the applicable NAICS codes.� Large business or small business and if applicable, a statement regarding small business status (i.e. SB, 8(a), VOSB, SDVOSB, HUBZone SB, SDB, WOSB, LB) with corresponding NACIS code.
