- Champlain Admin Lobby Renovations (47PC11-ChamplainAdminLobb 03102020) THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE; THE GSA IS NOT SEEKING PRICING OR OFFERS. INFORMATION IS PROVIDED ON A VOLUNTARY BASIS. NO ENTITLEMENT TO PAYMENT OF DIRECT OR INDIRECT COSTS OR CHARGES INCLUDING POSTAGE AND SHIPPING WILL ARISE AS A RESULT OF THE SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION Description:� Furnish and Install all work and labor required by the contract documents to renovate a portion of the first floor of the existing passenger admin building at the Land Port of Entry, 237 West Service Rd, Champlain, NY 12919.� This is an interior renovation project, and includes but is not limited to finish work, ballistic protections, electrical work, minor mechanical work, limited fire protection work, and temporary facilities.� Total project area is approximately 5,400 SF.� The Project will require: Installation of temporary facilities for the client Agency, Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Demolition of the existing Admin Area, Construction of the New Facility, and Removal of the Temporary Facilities Please note that the Champlain Passenger Processing area is open 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, 365-days a year and cannot be completely �shut down� during demolition and/or construction.� �This project was designed by NK Bhandari Architecture & Engineering, P.C of Syracuse, NY. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, management, and full time on site supervision. Base interior work shall include, but is not limited to, new walls, doors, casework, woodwork, flooring, plumbing, electrical, fire protection and mechanical work. Exact work description is identified and indicated in the Contract Documents. The contractor shall comply with the projects design specifications and drawings. The work will be constructed under a single prime contractor who is to adhere to all security requirements and guidelines for building access. The contractor is also to provide onsite supervision at all times work is being performed, including afterhours work as needed. �THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME, this is not a Request for Proposal. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.� All information furnished to the Government in response to this notice will be reviewed by the Contracting Officer for the purpose of determining whether there exists a reasonable expectation of obtaining a sufficient number of offers that are competitive in terms of market prices, quality, and delivery. All information furnished to the Government in response to this notice will be used for review purposes only. Submission Instructions:� As this notice is a Sources Sought announcement, interested firms should submit a Written Letter of Interest along with a response to your Small Business Certification to Kate Wheeler, Contracting Officer. All responses must be submitted via email to Katherine.wheeler@gsa.gov by 4:30pm EST on March 24, 2020. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to firms regarding submissions. No hard copies will be accepted.
