- **UPDATE EVENT POSTPONED** Industry Partners, We appreciate your flexibility and understanding on this in advance! Acknowledging more and more of our partners are releasing restrictions to travel and conference participation, the NEC is going to err on the side of caution and will be postponing our NEC Industry day that was scheduled for Thursday, March 12th 2020. We will be proactively reserving several dates in the next 4 - 12 weeks as possible rescheduling options and will continue to monitor the COVID-19 outbreak and make a final decision appropriately. The new date will be communicated as soon as it's been finalized. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing you all at our next event.� Please pass on to anyone in your organization that may need this info. __________________________________________________________________________________________ As a follow on to the November 2018 Call to Industry regarding Next Generation Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Challenges, the Director, NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC), Ms. Elizabeth Durham-Ruiz, would like to announce the first regularly scheduled Industry Day for the NEC, scheduled for March 12, 2020. It will be hosted at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, in Laurel Maryland (MD).� It is intended that Industry Day will become a recurring event, based on Industry�s participation and feedback. The purpose of this event is for NEC leadership to address Industry and Academia (Industry includes both large and small businesses; Academia includes all Government-sponsored and private institutes of higher learning) regarding the future of the NEC, its challenges, as well as short-term and long-term goals. Topics for Discussion: Sent via SIPR email to all registered users. Date and Start time: March 12, 2020, 0900 ET. There is a cafeteria in the building, attendees are responsible for their own meals and refreshments. Location: 11100 Johns Hopkins Road Laurel, MD 20723 Parsons Auditorium, Lobby 1 Clearance: Secret, Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) must be signed Registration: Contact the Point of Contact (POC) below to obtain the registration form. Clearance passing instructions and NDA will be sent after registration is received.� THERE WILL BE NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION. No registrations or changes of attendee names will be accepted after that date and there will be no registrations done on-site at the event. There is a space limitation at the venue.� Once all registrations are submitted and vetted, companies may have to limit the number of attendees registered.� If companies will have to limit number of attendees, companies will be notified�the first week of March 2020, if necessary.
