Description

Notice of Proposed Contract Action This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract. The award is to be a Firm-Fixed Price contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), �Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.� The contracting officer has determined that only one source is reasonably available: The Versatile Company. The Department of the Air Force has a requirement for the right to use the educational content owned by The Versatile Company in order to teach a course at the Air Force Institute of Technology.�The PM simulation was developed by The Versatile Company and requires a license for use in the IPM 301 course. The NAICS code for this requirement is 611430, with a size standard of $12M in revenue.�This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals.�A Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quotation (RFQ) will not be available for this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely�within the discretion of the Government. Be advised that all correspondence sent via e-mail shall contain a subject line that reads �A006225 - Versatile PM Simulation.� Note that e-mail filters at Wright-Patterson AFB are designed to filter e-mails without subject lines or with suspicious subject lines or contents (i.e., .exe, or .zip files).� Therefore, if this subject line is not included, the e-mail may not get through the e-mail filters.� Also, be advised that .zip or .exe files are not allowable attachments and may be deleted by the e-mail filters at Wright-Patterson AFB.� If sending attachments with e-mail ensure only .PDF, .doc, or .xls documents are sent.� The e-mail filter may delete any other form of attachments.
