- This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Background: The Robley Rex Veterans Affairs Medical Center (Louisville VAMC), after our FY19 National Program for Sterile Processing (NPOSP) inspection, Sterile Processing Service received a finding for the floors and walls in our Decontamination Room. It was found that even though the walls and floors are properly cleaned and sterilized, they do not appear clean because the floor is original to the building. The grout lines are porous and attract bacteria and moisture into the floor. Sterile Processing Service is the main stakeholder on the project with oversight from Engineering and Infection Control. Purpose and Objectives: Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. NAICS code: 238330 and the size standard is $16.5M. NOTE: Respondent claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status must be registered and CVE verified in VetBiz Registry https://www.va.gov/osdbu/. Anticipated period of performance: One-time service. Other important considerations: All services are to be furnished at the Contractor s site of care.� Capability statement /information sought: Response to this announcement shall not to exceed 10 pages and should include the following information: (1) A tailored capability statement indicating the firm s ability to provide Variglaze floor/wall sealant installation; (2) The respondents DUNS number, organization name, address, point of contact, and size and type of business (e.g., SDVOSB/VOSB, etc,) pursuant to the applicable NAICS code; (3) Associated contract vehicles (i.e. GSA/FSS; SEWP); and (4) Information should be provided electronically in a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format. Provide any other information that may be helpful in developing or finalizing the acquisition requirements. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES Scope of Work: Where Work Will Be Conducted: The SaniMax flooring and wall covering will be installed at the Louisville Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Decontamination Room A018, Louisville, Kentucky 40206. Installation will be completed on a weekend day(s). Date of installation to be scheduled between vendor and Sterile Processing Services. Sterile Processing / Engineering Tasks:� VA Engineering Service to provide a moving company to relocate all equipment prior to and after flooring/wall installation VA Engineering Service to ensure there is adequate electrical power to support all equipment needed for vendor to adequately install/seal floor Representative from VA Engineering to be on location to support vendor during installation process if needed. Representative from Sterile Processing to be on location to support vendor during installation process if needed. Vendor Tasks: The walls and floors will be stripped, cleaned and neutralized using SaniGLAZE s XcelKLEEN process to prepare the tile and ground for application of SaniGLAZE inside the decontamination room. A protective shield referred to as SanMAX-C will be installed over the entire sanitized surface then Leopard SaniChips will be spread over the shield. The SaniMAX protective shield is then installed, ceiling in all layers and covering all grout cracks in the floors and walls. Project Completion Will be Determined Successful When: All materials have been installed and equipment is returned to original location in Decontamination Room. Floors and Walls have been inspected and approved by shareholder. Product has been installed for two weeks (14 business days) without issues.
