Description

Subject: Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, intends to award a sole source contract with AMO-Abbott Sales and Service, Inc. for annual full service maintenance of two government-owned Abbott-Eye-Intra-Laser Systems. AMO-Abbott Sales and Services is the manufacturer and the only authorized source with certified components to meet the standardized maintenance compliance. The award will be made on or about 1 April 2020. The NAICS code 811219, size standard $22M. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements. The solicitation number is W81K00-20-Q-0061, and is generated for the purposes of posting this notice of intent and the final Justification and Approval (J&A) document. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responses received, to include capability statements, within 5 days of the posting of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the interim purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
