Description
This announcement is to provide notice that the U.S. Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division, on behalf of the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radioactive and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) is seeking companies capable of providing electrochemiluminescence (ECL) systems to carry out highly sensitive, multiplexed immunoassays for biothreat agents. The systems must meet the following performance characteristics: Must read ECL immunoassays Must allow for multiple assays to run simultaneously on a single sample. Must provide read-out results within 60 minutes Must allow for a low sample volume (equal to or less than 125uL) of sample per plate well Must automatically display results Must be a plate based immunoassay system capable of reading multiplexed plates Must have temperature operational range 15-30 C minimum In addition to the system, companies must be able to provide the following: Installation and fielding of systems in customer laboratories and locations Repair and extended warranty services for systems Availability of commercial assays for use as well as the ability to develop customized assays. Updating/Upgrading the system�s older instruments While this notice is not a request for competitive proposals, parties purporting to have the requisite capabilities to provide the systems and support services must furnish, in writing, factual information for the following points: 1) A description of the system, its performance and physical specifications, and a current catalog of available assays. 2) A description of the support services provided for the system with emphasis on the elements noted above. 3) Information on volume discount pricing on system or assay purchases as well as system buyback program availability. Information must be sent, via email, to Susan Ruzicka at susan.e.ruzicka2.civ@mail.mil no later than the time and date of this announcement.� All questions regarding this notice must be in writing only; no telephonic replies will be accepted.� Information received in response to this notice may be used in support of future acquisitions.
