Description
Sources Sought Notice The Lebanon VA Medical Center, Lebanon, Pennsylvania has a potential requirement for Motorola Brand APX 8000 All Band Portable Radios and related accessories and components. The Government is seeking information on potential sources to furnish the required radios, initial programming and set-up of radios, and initial training to staff on using the radios, as well as yearly service of the equipment for three years after purchase. Potential vendors should respond with their ability to provide the following brand name items. Brand Name Product: All listed items are Motorola Brand Line # Descriptions 1 APX 8000 All Band Portable Radios Including: All-Band Antenna, Battery, Plastic Case 2 Smart Zone Operations 3 P25 9600 Baud Trunking 4 TDMA Operations 5 Programming Over P25 (OTAP) 6 Multikey 7 Astro Digital CAI Operation 8 3 Year Essential Service Plan 9 AES Encryption 10 Delete UHF Band 11 Battery Impress 2 LION R IP67 3400T Vendor will be required to furnish their own equipment to deliver, program, and set-up the radios. Vendor will be required to dispose of any waste generated while delivering, setting-up and programming the radios. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334220 with a small business size standard of 1,250 Employees. This is not a not a request for quote or proposals. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential Small Businesses especially any SDVOSBs capable of providing the brand name or equal equipment. Information provided by potential sources will be utilized by the Government to determine market availability and procurement strategy. An award of a contract will not result from this Sources Sought Notice. Vendors who can meet the requirements listed above should provide the following information: Business Name Business Address Business Point of Contact, including phone number and email address Business size Business Socioeconomic Status Federal Supply Scheduling (FSS) number, if the items required by the Government are available for purchase on an FSS contract. Any other pertinent capability information that relates to the above stated requirement. All responses shall be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer no later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2020. Responses should be sent via email to Caroline.Robinette@va.gov.
