Description
This synopsis is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source, or, for DoD, NASA, and the Coast Guard, from only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, full and open competition need not be provided for. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all capability statements received within five (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this ""Notice of Intent,"" the Government shall determine whether a competitive solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the ""System for Award Management"" (sam.gov) in order to be eligible for award. The Govt. will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this ""Notice of Intent."" The Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Enterprise Contracting Office (PKS) intends to award a sole source contract to American Society Military Comptrollers�(ASMC), 415 N Alfred Street Alexandria, VA 22314, based on the authority of the FAR 6.302-1. This contract is planned to be awarded NLT 09 March 2020 for a Period of Performance (PoP) of three (3) days. This contract allows for SAF/FM personnel to register/attend American of Society of Military Comptrollers PDI 2020. PDI is the premier training event for resource/financial managers in the Department of Defense, US Coast Guard, and public and private sectors. This three-day training event features a full day of Service and Defense Agencies workshops; general sessions with keynote speakers; mini-courses aligned to the DoD Financial Management Certification Program competencies and associated proficiency levels; financial management, audit, acquisition, and workforce management workshops; and other special activities. Event will be held May 27-29, 2020 in Nashville, TN. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Any offerers responding to this notice must provide evidence of capability to perform the above requirements. The appropriate NAICS Code for this acquisition is 611430, Professional and Management Development Training, with a size standard of $12M.
